On Wednesday, May 6, the feast of Mid-Pentecost and that of the Holy Great-Martyr & Trophy-bearer George, His Grace, Bishop Jerome (Shaw), paid an archpastoral visit to the eponymous church in Howell, NJ, where he celebrated Divine Liturgy on the occasion of the parish’s patronal feast day, as well as the 65th anniversary of its founding.

From Wednesday, April 29, through Tuesday, May 5, the Council of Bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia met in the Convent of the Venerable New-Martyr Grand Duchess Elizabeth in Buchendorf, Germany, convening in connection with the celebration of the centenary of the Diocese of Germany.

The Diocese of Germany of ROCOR marked the centenary of its establishment with a solemn Divine Liturgy. On Friday, May 1, the divine service in Holy New Martyrs & Confessors of Russia Cathedral in Munich was officiated by His Eminence Nicholas, Metropolitan of Eastern America & New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad

On Wednesday, April 29, the eminent members of the Council of Bishops of the Russian Church Abroad, led by Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York, First Hierarch of ROCOR, prayed at Divine Liturgy, celebrated by Metropolitan Mark of Berlin & Germany at the Convent of the Holy Martyr Grand Duchess Elizabeth in Buchendorf, Bavaria.

On April 26, the 3rd Sunday of Pascha, dedicated to the Holy Myrrh-bearing Women, the parish of the same name in Brooklyn, NY prayerfully celebrated its patronal feast day. Celebrating Divine Liturgy was His Eminence Nicholas, Metropolitan of Eastern America & New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad

On April 26, the 3rd Sunday of Pascha, dedicated to the Holy Myrrh-bearing Women, with the blessing of Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York, His Eminence, Metropolitan Jonah (Paffhausen), paid an archpastoral visit to the eponymous church in Mount Crawford, VA, where he celebrated Divine Liturgy on the occasion of the parish’s patronal feast.

On April 26, the 3rd Sunday of Pascha, that of the Myrrh-bearing Women, His Grace, Bishop Jerome (Shaw), paid an archpastoral visit to Holy Virgin Protection Church in Nyack, NY, where he celebrated Divine Liturgy. The visit to the Nyack parish on this weekend has become an annual tradition for the retired diocesan vicar.

On Tuesday, April 21 – the day of commemoration of the departed, called Radonitsa, or the ‘Day of Rejoicing’ – His Eminence Nicholas, Metropolitan of Eastern America & New York, visited Holy Protection Church in Buena, NJ, where he celebrated Divine Liturgy.

On April 19, the 2nd Sunday of Pascha, dedicated to the Holy Apostle Thomas, His Eminence Nicholas, Metropolitan of Eastern America & New York, celebrated Divine Liturgy in St. Seraphim Cathedral of Holy Dormition Convent "Novo-Diveevo" in Nanuet, NY.

On Bright Saturday, April 18, Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York paid an archpastoral visit to St. Vladimir Memorial Church in Jackson, NJ, where he celebrated the Paschal Divine Liturgy. At the entrance to the Memorial Church, dedicated to the Millennium of the Baptism of Rus’, the First Hierarch was greeted by deputy rector Archpriest Serge Ledkovsky.

On Bright Saturday, April 18, His Grace, Bishop Jerome (Shaw), celebrated the Paschal Divine Liturgy in Nativity of the Mother of God Church at the New Kursk Root Hermitage in Mahopac, NY. On this day, clergy and parishioners gathered to celebrate the 50th anniversary of His Grace’s ordination to the priesthood

On Bright Monday, April 13, Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York, First Hierarch of the Russian Church Abroad, and Bishop Theodosius of Manhattan paid an archpastoral visit to St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Howell, NJ, where they celebrated the Paschal Divine Liturgy.

On the night of Sunday, April 12, the clergy and parishioners of the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign in New York City celebrated the principal Christian feast – Christ’s Glorious Resurrection.

"I wish you all that is bright in these days," writes the Holy Hierarch Theophan the Recluse, "and, for their sake, in all the days to come. The Lord is always sweetness, and joy, and repose! Strive always to be with the Lord, and you will always celebrate the Radiant Pascha."

In all its richness and diversity, the human language knows no words more joyful and desired for the believing heart than this overwhelming testimony to the victory of life over death and good over evil.

On April 10, Great and Holy Friday – the day on which the Holy Church commemorates the holy, saving, and awesome sufferings and death of our Lord Jesus Christ –Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York officiated the divine services in the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign in New York City

On Thursday, April 9, toward the conclusion of Passion Week, Metropolitan Nicholas of Eastern America & New York celebrated Divine Liturgy for Great and Holy Thursday (commemorating the Mystical Supper) in the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign in New York City.

On Tuesday, April 7, the great feast of the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos, His Eminence Nicholas, Metropolitan of Eastern America & New York, paid an archpastoral visit to Holy Annunciation Church in Flushing, NY, where he celebrated Divine Liturgy in honor of the parish’s patronal feast day.

On Tuesday, April 7 – the great feast of the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos – His Grace Theodosius, Bishop of Manhattan, celebrated the festal Divine Liturgy in the Synodal Cathedral of the Sign in New York City.
